The first Seven Verses of Al Muddassir Sura

In The Name Of God

 

There are some highlighted points as: 

1) Qiam/ One should rise up to change himself and his society;

2) Kabber/ God is Great. Neither exaggerate your good work, nor be afraid of any obstacle to achieve your goal, because God is greater than any so_called problem;

3) Fataher/ Facing obstacles, one should purify both his appearance, presenting his inner side, and his actions;

4) Hajar/ One should move and migrate to somewhere else, provided that he confronted some impure reactions to his uprising or Qiam.

Al_Muddassir SURA .......An Uprising Sura (Qiam) Extracted from: Tafakor Book

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH

Contemplating /Thought is a kind of uprising for comprehending an issue. Lack of Planning and Paying attention to its background and factors which are irrelevant to the issue but are considered as the base of that thought may cause to abort that thought or may lead into an opposite result. Therefore, knowing the background of each uprising could be used into two aspects:

1) Keeping the uprising ( or Qiam( 

  

2) Keeping the thought

In Muddassir Sura relating to the first year of Quran's Revelation and arising and announcing it publicly, these two points were well stated : in both above_mentioned items, the backgrounds are the most important issues to consider, and definitely it is essential to be kept them away from the environmental effects.

Grounds and Environmental backgrounds are strongly able to have an impact on uprising (or Qiam) as well as a thought that not only may deviate them from their right path, but also be a means of their deviation.

Dear All

I welcome you to our new topic "Methods of Tafakkor". For the coming session please do the following:

1) Read Through "Modasser" Surah 2 times at least

2) According to 7 different expressive forms(Imperative,Prohibition,Encouragement, Threatening, Narrative, Similitude, Law/Argumentation)

    classify "Modasser" Surah.

    * keep in mind that a single verse can be put under two or more columns

    * Put the verses in the table in the form that the sequence of the verses is kept(by shifting the new numbers a row down)

3) By considering the existing relations between the expressive forms, answer to the questions 5 and 6. In the case of absence,

    the questions can be  downloaded from the link below.

    For answering question 4 you can use "Almizan Tafsir" on the surah

4) Think about the examples of "Ghiam" around yourself and talk about it about 5 minutes

     Please record your voice and bring your recordings this week.

To those who have not handed out their exams:

1. The course has its own rules.

2. Not delivering the exam would be considered as dispensing the course.

3. The delivery would be accepted till Monday.

Methods of Tafakkor

Dear All

With the aid of Allah we are moving to our next topic in "Tadabbor" course called "Methods of Tafakkor" or actually

the ways for strengthening the contemplation which results in better Taaghol and Tadabbor.

Our second topic outline is as follows:

2. Methods of Tafakkor

   2.1. Seeing well-Hearing well (Strengthening our attention to details)

   2.2. Paying attention to literary and expressive templates/forms(7 main Templates)

   2.3. Paying attention to the background(Reason of revealing, Social conditions and etc)

   2.4. Using words in the surah(Rational analysis of the word - 4 domains)

   2.5. About Statements(Classification, Combination, Higher order statements)

   2.6. Surah Diagram( 3 types)

We will apply all the methods in following sessions on "Moddaser" surah.

In The Name Of Allah

1) God may assure the Prophet (PBUH) to be guided and led to the best by vowing to some natural phenomena including the full brightness of a day,Zoha.

2) Not only did God created us, but He may never leave us misled.

3) If we are directed to some good status in a society, we must help lost or needy people to develop , as well. 

4) Provided that I was guided to find a better position, I should not forger the others!

5) It is my social commitments to motivate and support other people.

6) The more treating needy people respectfully, the higher appreciation we show to God's Blessings.

Stage #4: Taharat

1) Behave respectfully with other people esp. the needy ones.

2) Speak positively of given divine blessings.

3) Understanding the pain of being an orphan in addition to being lost in the right path of life will lead us to a better perception of the poor.

In The Name Of Allah

1) Not only we should rely on our senses to conceive a subject, but we had better to use our imagination power to see even things not being able to see them by our eyes or other senses.

2) Noticing that there are some people needing our care and confidence so as to be motivated.

3) In order to feed a needy person, it is essential to consider what s/he needs first and/or  what are his/her characteristics matching his needs  then in which field it is better to help him/her.  

4) If we fulfill what God expect us to do, God may raise our honors and respects in the eyes of other people to see and appreciate our good deeds without any publicity; that is, it is adequate to purify our intentions as well as our actions only for God.

5) Apparently, there are some people whose basic needs are not easily distinguishable in a society; hence, we should use stronger tools than our physical senses , such as  our imagination  or intuition to see or comprehend what causes them to become stagnant _ with no progress in a society_ in addition to how it is possible to stimulate them to develop .
